To celebrate a happy Friday, our school community dressed in yellow and wore space buns!

An afternoon program hosted by Philadelphia Yearly Meeting's Children and Youth Programs. A workshop with Dwight Dunston, aka Sterling Duns, a West Philly-based facilitator, hip-hop artist, educator, and activist with deep experience in facilitating Kingian Nonviolence programs and working with children.

We launched Hispanic Heritage Month during our Meeting for Singing this week! We celebrated with lively singing and dancing to Spanish music, while also exploring Hispanic traditions and recognizing influential individuals. See photos here.

Listening is a life skill

On Friday, Sept. 13th we participated in an all-school walk to support a former Westfield student, Betty, as she fights B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Students donated a dollar for every lap they completed and received a popsicle at the end of the walk!
