Art Teacher Deborah Moss Marris led our students in an exploration of the color yellow by identifying yellow items in their everyday lives as well as looking at famous yellow pieces of art like Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers.” From there, they gradually used different yellow materials—crayons, chalk, watercolors, and opaque paint. Teacher Deborah also showed our Pre-K friends how to use a paintbrush and care for their materials.
