Why I'm passionate about Quaker education
The values taught at a Quaker school drew me to WFS. In 2016, I enrolled my children here at Westfield Friends because this matched my values as a parent. The values taught and embedded into the curriculum are something I truly love. I believe WFS teaches the whole child, not just academically. I love that there are lessons around growing children into productive citizens and recognizing the bright light in everyone they meet. For over 20 years, I've strived to teach the whole child, who will one day serve their community and lead this country where all people are valued and celebrated for their contributions. I am proud to continue this mission here at Westfield Friends School.
This year in my class
My goal is to shape the minds of children, teaching tolerance, and helping them understand how Quaker SPICES are the center of who we are. While doing so, I hope to foster a love of people, a thirst for knowledge, and living one's true self.
