Dear Westfield Families and Friends,
Thank you to everyone who has already signed up for the Ronald McDonald House Read for the House service project! We are so excited to kick off this meaningful initiative and can’t wait to see our students making a difference through reading.
If you haven’t yet signed up, there’s still time! Reading officially begins on February 1, and we would love for students across all grades to participate. This is a wonderful opportunity for our children to develop a love of reading while supporting families in need.
How It Works:
January:
- Set up your child’s fundraising page and invite sponsors to pledge any amount per minute read.
February:
- Reading begins February 1! Track minutes daily using the program’s website and the attached calendar.
- The more your child reads, the more support they provide to families at Ronald McDonald House.
March:
- Encourage sponsors to submit their donations through your child’s fundraising page. Every dollar raised directly helps families in need!
Getting Started is Easy!
Visit RMHCphilly.org/Read and click “Register Now.”
Select “Reader” and join Westfield’s team by searching for it under “Find a Team to Join.”
Set a fundraising goal (no minimum required) and create your fundraising page.
Personalize your page and share with family and friends to gather support.
If you participated last year, you can log in with your existing credentials but will need to set up a new fundraising page for 2025. Need help? Contact Alyssa McHugh at [email protected] for assistance.
This is a fantastic way for our students to turn their love of reading into an act of kindness. We hope to see as many children as possible join in!
Thank you for your support, and let’s get ready to read for a great cause!
Warmly,
T. Paige
