Students in PreK to 8th grade practiced their races all week so that they could compete on Field Day on their respective Garent and Blue teams!
They ran and jumped and hopped, all to gain points for their teams while parents and guardians cheered them along and then everyone had a picnic lunch together!
The parents had their go at a foot race, too!
Also, all week running up to Field Day, families shone through with their giving spirit donating a carful of non-perishable goods in support of Beacon of Hope Ministries in Mount Holly, who provide food to over 6,000 adults and children monthly.
ALUMNI VISITED!
We were so happy to host our Garnet and Blue Alumni and Alumni Faculty. They came from near and far and ranged from 1960's 's to 2015. They enjoyed watching the tradition of races, participating in a foot race of their own, meeting other alumni, and joining us for lunch and tours in the school, afterward.
We're excited to keep this tradition of inviting Alumni to Field Day, moving forward.
We even had our very own Teacher Paige visit with her baby girl. What a treat!
