Middle School students enjoyed a presentation by Heather Huffnagle, parent of two middle school students on her journey as an artist, illustrator, advocate, and lobbyist.
Her journey started as a lobbyist for historic preservation, to executive director of a historic preservation organization in Seattle right at the time of the major earthquake in the early 2000s, to her evolution as an artist and illustrator.
The kids asked great questions which included asking about her inspirations and her overall evolution.
