This year, students were creative and their enthusiastic efforts showed how inventive they could be.
For the month of April, they were all challenged to recite a poem to an adult other than their homeroom or grade-level teacher and the prizes were popsicles. PreK recited a nursery poem together and all got popsicles!
The student who recited the longest poem that met the criteria to win tea and biscuits with friends hosted by Teacher Margaret in her office.
This year, Jordan M. won by reciting the longest poem. It was titled 'Silence' and he was the author!
