Teacher Margaret's "View From My Window" - March 30th

3 WINDOWS

Dear Friends,

We are ready for our well-deserved and timely spring vacation. Since President's weekend way back in the middle of February, we have had six solid weeks of learning.

Today, our 1st Grade and Kindergarten students provided a wonderful demonstration of all of their growth so far this year as they performed their play, Character Matters

Our Second and Third Grade students have been interviewing experts as they pursue their project “Helping Humans”.

Third and Fifth Grade students recently went to the library to get books of poetry in anticipation of their upcoming Poetry Slam.

Sixth Grade students have been focused on their upcoming production of Hamlet

Many of us are in the midst of observing Ramadan. Others are heading into Passover observances or Easter rites and celebrations. For those of us who practice and celebrate these Holy seasons, each one asks us to reflect on Truth, draw closer to God through prayer, remember who we are in communion and community, and prepare to return our best selves to our “ordinary time”, daily lives.  To everyone celebrating I wish you Ramadan Mubarak! Chag Pesach Sameach! Happy Easter!
