In celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year being the year of the rabbit in 2023 Teacher Johnnie brought his two rabbits, Pancakes and Waffles, into class for Pre-K through 1st grade art class this Thursday.
This was also a great opportunity to teach students how to generate texture through specific line and mark making by drawing rabbit fur on their own bunny drawings. Students who followed instructions got the chance to feed the rabbits carrots as well.
