Absence Policy

The school calendar highlights school days and scheduled holidays. Each day at school is an organized and planned series of learning experiences. Missing days at school interrupts this learning.

  • Unscheduled holidays taken by families are considered unexcused absences. The school does not provide “make-up” instruction or travel schoolwork for these days.
  • The school does provide make up work for student absences due to illness, emergency, bereavement, or religious observances.

Being late for school is to be avoided. School attendance and lateness is reflected in your child’s school reports.

To report your child absent, call Laurie Fleischer (856 829-0895 x14) or leave a message on her voicemail, along with the nature of the illness that your child has.
