Parent Council

The Parent Council of Westfield Friends School exists to foster positive community spirit between the key constituencies of the school. It runs family events throughout the year, as well as carrying out fundraising activities that help underwrite family events, support auditorium visits by groups such as The Walnut Street Theatre, and generate funds for larger school projects such as new playground equipment, technology upgrades or cafeteria renovation.

Parent Council meets once a month, on a Monday evening at 7.30 p.m. in the 5th and 6th grade lounge area.  All parents are welcome and are encouraged to attend. Our head of school, teachers, staff, and some members of our School Board also attend.

September: Back to School Night (September 22, 2016 at 7 p.m.)
All parents gather in the auditorium for a general introduction, and then adjourn to the individual classrooms to be briefed on their child’s grade. Parent Council dues ($20) are requested at this time, and school calendars are available for purchase.
